How We Are Handling COVID-19
We here at Harris North Law share in the increasing global concern about COVID-19. We want you to know we are taking the situation very seriously. Our commitment to putting the health and safety of our clients and staff first is unwavering. We have always taken pride in the cleanliness of our office and, as an extra precautionary measure, we are:
Whenever possible, we will be conducting client meetings via teleconference.
When it is necessary to have face to face meetings, we will be asking that anyone who has travelled outside of Canada or has been in close contact with anyone who has travelled outside of Canada, to advise us so that we can conduct a proper assessment as to the timing of the meeting and any containment steps that may be required for the meeting.
When office meetings do occur, we will be practicing social distancing by ensuring sufficient space is kept between us and anyone entering the office.
We have implemented a standard multiple times per day cleaning procedure of our office with particular focus on our waiting room, lawyer and staff individual offices and all touch points including, but not limited to, door handles, desks, display units, and our payment terminal.
We will be monitoring the situation as it evolves and should we receive any updates regarding changes to the current recommendations or anything related to how the Province will be handling court appearances and/or filings, we will be immediately advising anyone that it directly affects.
